Brand New Portable Turnstile Joins the Fortress Product Range01.10.2009
Fortress GB are introducing another innovative addition to an already expansive portfolio of access control products. The brand new portable turnstile solution is incorporated into the wide ranging scope of the Smart Stadium Solution and provides an alternative to virtual and/or permanent turnstiles.
Perfectly suited for use in stadiums and arenas, the product is designed to act as a replacement to PDA operated entry points or as a temporary addition to an already existent set of turnstiles.
With wide-ranging uses, the solution is ideal for venues looking to increase capacity for specific events or at specific times of year. It also lends itself to act as an interim solution whilst stadium upgrades are taking place and permanent turnstiles are decommissioned.
Encompassing both the Fortress control box and the top of the range TR-140 reader, the portable turnstile solution allows entry into venues through the use of both barcode paper tickets and the fortress multi-application smart card. Once connected to a network point, the control boxes will be able to communicate with the Fortress server and provide all the benefits that are associated with the Smart Stadium Solution.
The product which can be used indoors and outdoors alike features an anti-slip surface and is built using rugged, robust and durable components to ensure that operation is fluid regardless of the weather. As such it is suited for all event types ranging from tennis matches, to cricket and football games.
Elegantly designed for multi-purpose use, the portable turnstile comes as a complete unit and adds one more module to the services offered by the Fortress Smart Stadium Solution.
