Britsol City FC Enhances Membership Base with Fortress Smart Card
16.09.2009Bristol City Football club is reaping the benefits of affording its fans with Fortress' membership and season Smart Cards.
Almost 11,000 season tickets have been sold for the current season, and the club's innovative membership scheme has ensured a further increase in its fan base.
Membership Smart Cards allow the club to monitor and track the attendance of their members by logging each entry into a database. Access to this information enables the club to seek out its most loyal fans and awards them with exclusive benefits.
The scheme rewards Bristol City's most loyal fans with perks ranging from priority booking of Coca-Cola Championship home games, to receiving £2 off the general sale price to all league games.
Membership schemes present one of the many uses of the Fortres multi--application Smart Card and enable clubs to interact with their supporters on a much larger scale. By building up a more personal relationship with their fans, clubs are able to sell more tickets and improve attendance during events.
