Kuwait's New National Stadium Chooses Access with Fortress

Kuwait's brand new "Jabar-al Ahmad" National Stadium is the latest in a series of high profile stadiums to install the Fortress Access Control system. The stadium which will house 60,000 fans and a host of VIP guests has been completed and is due to begin operation in early 2010.
The Stadium will benefit from a fully automated access control system which will help cement its reputation as a leader in sporting facilities within the region. Kuwait's Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipal affairs Dr. Fadhel Safar has commented that the completion of the stadium was "a sports dream come true."
Featuring the Fortress TR-110 Reader at every turnstile, entry into the stadium will be faster and more secure, serving to minimise queing times at the gates. Fans will be able to enter the stadium through the use of either paper tickets or Fortress' multi-application smart cards culminating in 'a great leap forward for sporting facilities in Kuwait.'
